Hello and welcome!
You may already know me through me by my work on Heroes Unite/Retake/Relik, but if not, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dan Butcher and I’ve been posting comics on Drunk Duck for about four years now. This will be my first foray into taking on both the writing and art duties on a title. A challenge, for me at least.
Coming shortly will be a series of character sheets which will appear periodically through out January, before the Vanguard comic launches in full. These should give you a glimpse of the characters/what to expect.

Why is this written in black on black?
I suspected that there was something hidden in that big black empty box and so I discovered the text. But, why?
Not sure what you are referring to… Where’s the black box you mention?

I see black text on a nearly black background, too.
What is it supposed to look?
The boxes entitled “New here? Click me!” and “Discussion” have looks like having black text on nearly black background.
It’s a browser issue. It looks black on black with Opera and black on light gray with Firefox.
Hmmm…

Weird… That’s the 2nd time that Opera displays something wrong when Firefox has it right within a few days. Looks like I have to ditch Opera. A shame, because it’s a lot faster than Firefox.
Anyway – sorry for disturbing.
No probs. I’m curious to see what that text is now. Will check the site out on other browsers and take a look!
