V05 – Pg17
This page was a bit of a bugger to finish. I have re-written the dialogue several times. I’m just hoping there’s no glaring errors.
So, did MaXia just get her facts wrong or did the team’s backers know of Eagle-5’s demise before it happened? Our boy Gradlon/Wolfero will have to take this up with Max…

I hope you didn’t lose time working on your amazing guest comic over at Mallville Rules the second greatest superhero comic on the web http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/2xXn47/www.inkbot.net/mallville_rules_s5.html
Nah, it was all me. Doing the Mallville stand in was a total pleasure.
BTW- What’s the greatest Superhero comic on the web 😉
Dan, I loved “cock-olisms”! We were showing around a visitor from Montreal, Que., who used to say one English word in a French accent that made us all giggle with embarrassment, but we still asked her questions in the hope that she would use that word in her answer. We were mean.
Ha ha! I work with an Australian lady who mispronounces a few words that makes us all giggle. The ‘cock-olisms’ is a call back to this page 🙂

Ah, I see it. :`D
“Have a word” has never seemed like British slang to me–just a phrase. It’s ise a decentamount where I live, in northern California.
We’ll assume MaXia not getting it is down to the fact she’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer – Heh
I like to say “Not the sharpest cookie in the lamp”, just to be different, but yeah. It can sometimes be just that a character isn’t very bright. Team X-Treme seems perfect for their reality show aspect. So many different personalities seemingly designed to squabble. But it’ll be interesting to see how Gradlon takes it, having been on the much more professional-acting Vanguard.
Indeed we will! 🙂
