Test The Limits
Back to Avalon and Cates puts Luke through a test run of his powers. Three shots of his plasma blasts and he’s run out of steam. Considering that was the only attack that seem to hurt MaX at all, that’s not the best of news.
Also, Nara seems to have a bit of a ‘thing’ for Luke. You can see her check him on previous pages 😉

Cave of Emrys
So the last page was Woden keeping tabs on Pendragon as he buried his eldest daughter beside his late wife. How did his wife pass? We’ll be tackling that in an upcoming story.
Herne, although he has set in motion an uprising with Jordana/The Wolfshead, it would seem his plan isn’t quite so clear cut. I always wanted readers to be a little unsure of Herne and his motivations. Something which will be addressed in a few pages time.

Graveside Pledge

Remember to Radio
Remember Bridget from the previous issue?
Jordana’s team rescued her from the Bulldogs and here we are a few days later setting her on her way. Back in issue 13, Jordana ‘borrowed’ a bike off of Micky, a scout for Norn.
Who is Norn? He’s a relatively big player in the current state of the UK. What he does, well that’ll be shown in the next issue.

Chemical Leash
We jump back to ‘the present’ with the Red Council confronting MaXamillian regarding his actions from the previous issue.
MaX is kept under control by the council by the use a ‘chemical leash‘. If he doesn’t take doses of the retro-virus the council provide him, he’ll lose his abilities and his body will turn upon itself and start to breakdown, kinda like Lupus.
