Red Guard forces take a clobbering! I made Norn’s low-tech’s with the idea in mind that they’d have very restricted access to technology and firearms. Firearm ownership in the UK is highly regulated and restricted.
Never fear, these people have found a number of ways to attack and defend themselves in ingenious ways, as you’ll soon see.

Red Guard forces deploy tear gas down onto the Norn’s base of operations. But these guys have seen this before and are well versed in fighting Red Guard forces.
See that guy in the red puffer jacket? His name is Chris. He popped up in the first arc of Vanguard and was one of the gang that broke into Godiva’s sisters home. After a brief struggle, Marion’s mother was shot and killed. This happened back in issue eight.
The plan was to have Marion find out his identity whilst the group tried to with favour with Norn and his people, then, in a fit of rage, kill him, throwing the alliance into jeopardy.
The storyline couldn’t play out as I could never quite work it in. Still, Chris pops up in today’s page.

Do you know how the word Utopia is defined?
From the British Library: No Place
Thomas More coined the word ‘utopia’ from the Greek ou-topos meaning ‘no place’ or ‘nowhere’. It was a pun – the almost identical Greek word eu-topos means ‘a good place’. So at the very heart of the word is a vital question: can a perfect world ever be realised?
So, can (a) Utopia exist? Well Malachi thinks not. The phrase I have Mal repeat in the above page is a quote from Peter Hitchens. Although I don’t generally agree with the positions he takes, he has dropped some pearls of wisdom over the years, such as the one quoted.
