It’s Section Nine, aka ‘The Nine’, jumping into action. As you can see, Kay (aka Ophelia, now Ex-Vanguard) is now one of them!
At the top left is the team leader, Thade (See cast list, ). The other two team members will be introduced properly in the next few pages.
I really liked how this one turned out!

I like the idea of giving guns to guys who can incinerate you with their bare hands. I think it’s always good to have a backup plan.
It does seem a bit over-kill, does it not? Heh. All these guys/gals have been recruited from the services, so they’d have probably used firearms their entire career. Not all their abilities are offensive, so the guns can be classed as side-arms to their main powers.
