As you may or may not be able to tell, MaX is firing off insults and future versions of Bombshell , Azumorph ,Relik and Acrobat .
Bombshell has a few wrinkles 20+ years from now, but is still looking good 😉

Take a generic super-group, add a pinch of Rob Liefeld and a dash of awesome and you get TEAM X-TREME!

…and as you can see, Gradlon has left the Vanguard for greener pastures. Greener as in, more money, Hey, it’s what makes the world go round!

Hello you!
It’s the last page of issue four! Michael Bay, eat your heart out 😉

Wanted this page to be a counter-point to the splash page at the start of the issue. Dark/Light… read into that what you will.

Cates and Pendragon are off to dig up some dirt on Blue-River. Will they find answers to who is behind current events? Was Woden’s vision real, or induced by the blow to the head? Will Gradlon really leave the team? and finally, Kingsword coughing up blood! WTF!?

Going to take a week or two off to work on some stuff… but I do have some in-continuity filler material coming up that I think you’ll like 😉

Any feedback on how you think the comic is going so far is extremely welcome. What works/what doesn’t… what you like/what you dislike, etc.

Hello you!

Penultimate page before the end of issue four – the last page of which will be posted on Friday. Hooray! Going to take a week or two off to work on some stuff… but I do have some in-continuity filler material coming up that I think you’ll like 😉

The story has slowed a little over the previous pages, but it is necessary for the following issues.

Blue-River? Who are Blue-River? Well, look here.

Vanguard is set in a possible/alternate Heroes Alliance/Unite universe. I say ‘possible’, as there have been several futures mapped out in various related stories (Energize, etc.)

Any feedback on how you think the comic is going so far is extremely welcome. What works/what doesn’t… what you like/what you dislike, etc.

Events from the beginning of this issue now start to make sense… but why were the Merc team attacking that base? Aren’t they allied with the new Russian Government? Hmmm…

The plot thickens! A traitor in MI5/Vanguard? What happened to the General Phelp’s old team? Why are Cates, Drake and Thade the only active members? What’s their backstory? Well, I’ll be delving into that a little in the next issue.

Remember Pendragon getting a message by courier about 5 or 6 pages ago? Well, this is where he disappeared off to. The following pages will be pretty text heavy and set up a large chunk of the upcoming story…
