V10 – Pg11
Meet Mr. Neat! Superhero spokesperson for: Neat! Near Meat substitute. Tastes like real meat.
This is how far superheroes have fallen…
and things have become even worse for out poor hero. But at least he has a discount voucher, eh?
Gary re-wrote the sequence, making it a lot better. The two of us have been working hard on the upcoming pages and the overall story in general. I’m genuinely excited about what’s coming up next 🙂

Hey, Mr. Neat! I use all his cleaning products! Sure looks weird with hair.
I’ll have to confess, I’m not familiar with that brand.
I think Nick is thinking of Mr. Clean. No relation to Mr. Neat.
OOoohh. Gotcha!
His day just keeps on getting better, doesn’t it.
And tell me again: Why aren’t there violent riots all over the place already?
riots and revolt occur when dissatisfaction exceed fear apparently that hasn’t happened yet
Or we just don’t get to see them yet. The general public most likely doesn’t unless they’re growing too big. Or only as a short news report “A group of radical anarchists (or any political or social group you want to shift all blame on) gathered today in Whitechapel in an attempt to disturb public safety. The small mob was swiftly cleared by police forces. Thanks to the quick response, damages to citizens and property remained minimal.”
There are definite parallels to the world we live in today within the story (albeit exaggerated). How the general populace is living will become apparent as the story expands.
Not the most athletic looking superhero, but I’m guessing he has laser eyes that make up for it.
Don’t wanna mess with laser eyes, eh!?
30,000, plus 2x 25,000, plus 2x 10,000 = 100,000. And a home in London isn’t valuable enough to cover that? A no-bedroom flat within fifty miles of London should be able to cover that. Did the bottom fall out of the housing market?
80,000 he refused to pay for processing
Maybe it was a rental property? It seems in the future, the economy in the UK has gone through some kind of hyper-inflation.
There is no mention of monetary units so it’s not 80,000 pounds or euros. It’s a lot of money.
dear god his shorts the eyes they burn. also aren’t charging him for stuff they didn’t do?
If you don’t get burned by his eyes, his shorts will do the job! heh
so no installment plan
It seems not! Pay up… or else!
Near Meat……soylent green is people! its PEOPLE!!! ….hmm does that come with some fava beans?
*chomp* Actually, people taste pretty good! *chomp*
Near meat is being created and tested and refined even now in 2016. Working on that look and taste.
