Since people don’t come back from the dead (in this comic at least), Jordana is extremely skeptical of Nara’s claim. However, Woden explains that she never ‘died’, rather Herne holds her falling into oblivion… for now, at least. Jordana has realized that Herne would have only have done so for a reason and she has an idea just what that might be.

Since that’s basically Herne’s “high priest” (in a sense), it wouldn’t surprise me if Herne actually views that description of him as high praise.
you dealing with a god of nature. law of survival and survival of the fittest. playing nice doesn’t come with the territory.
but a deity of such mindset, the ends completely justify the means. keep in mind herne essentially had wooden abandon his friends in the first story arc at the end.
And once Jordana realizes that Woden is essentially Herne’s high priest, her next move will be to tell Woden to go &$#@ himself. In an uncomfortable place.
