I’ll be posting updates and some VYPER related stuff over the next few weeks. If you want to see my sketch blog and have access to ALL of the comics in high-res PDF format, why not consider becoming a Vanguard Patreon?
Kema slips up and unwittingly lets it be known that there’s a third sister. How is this relevant? Well Jordana appears to have the same abilities as her father… and that could be very interesting to those in charge. We’ll be getting into this next issue!

Alfred gets an absolute roasting from ‘the green head’ and is busted down to picking vegetables to earn his keep. In his wake, Neil Thade (ex-leader of Section Nine) pops up to escort Pendragon to London. These two fellows haven’t seen each other for 15 years… and the last time they did, they tried to kill one another.
I absolutely hate panel five. It looks flat and crappy. Might re-do it from scratch. This page was going to be two pages, but I condensed it down to one. Does it work? I dunno. But we’ve sailed over 40 pages in a single issue, so I tried to put the brakes on a little. lol – WEBCOMICS!

Back at brāvnüwərd.net, the team’s efforts to bring down the De Tonerre family has floundered. However, the lady in the wheelchair, Jenny, is more involved in things that we first thought. This character has ties back to the first arc of the story. She if you can work out where she appeared in issues one to nine.
As some commented on the last page, Herne plays to win. Like the Gods of old, worship could well be substituted for ‘fear’, as Herne manipulates those he sets his gaze upon to do his bidding.
Woden can only operate in the World for brief periods, before his abdominal wound starts to opening again. Is it beyond Herne’s ability to heal this wound? Of course not. Will he ever do so? We’ll see.

Since people don’t come back from the dead (in this comic at least), Jordana is extremely skeptical of Nara’s claim. However, Woden explains that she never ‘died’, rather Herne holds her falling into oblivion… for now, at least. Jordana has realized that Herne would have only have done so for a reason and she has an idea just what that might be.

First off, allow to me to apologise for the lack of update last Friday. Had a number of people off sick at work and I had to compensate. Was blasted by the time I got back home to do any more computer work.
But as we know, Herne doesn’t do ‘nice’ things for people without a reason… and Jordana is about to be reminded of that.
NEWS:
I’m currently working with actor Jessica Chamberlain to put together an image for the comic. I’ll give you one guess as to the character she’ll be portraying
😉

Good thing Cates didn’t blow Jordana away on sight eh? In fact, he knows more than he’s letting. You’ll discover what in the next issue, where we explore what exactly happened after the events in issue nine and who everyone got to where they are today.
We’re nearing the end of issue 14. I’ve uploaded some super-high res PDFs of the issues over on the Patreon account.
