…And there was me talking about how long last weeks page took to finish.
Some news regarding VANGUARD updates. For the next few weeks, we’ll only be updating on a Friday. I have a hefty chunk of work drop in my lap that requires a fair bit of time. Once it’s done, we’ll be back to two pages a week. Yuss!

And of course, the instigator is throwing a temper tantrum because she wants to shoot people.
And yes, I’m calling her the instigator because Nara didn’t even get to throw the pie.
At the very least she’s an escalator. And as you may have noticed, they all have personal shields. Clearly Nara’s pie would never have reached it’s target.

I really hope she meets a suitably gruesome and painful end. And the rest of the family too for allowing her to become that F****D up.
So wait, I can’t tell, is Nara dead, or about to be dead. It’s clear she’d been bleeding out, but I can’t tell how far gone she is.
That crossbow bolt probably severed her neck, and certainly put a giant hole into her windpipe. She’s dead unless she got shot inside an operating room with the surgeon already scrubbed up and ready.
And to answer Jake’s question in relation to this particular page: Right now, she’s probably not fully dead yet. But she’ll be within the next minute or two. A few more at best, depending on the exact damage.
Wow, those must be some shields. Normal shields only go up to 10.

Looks like we’ve got at five more police-for-hire inbound along with possibly three metas. I hope that Pendragon’s as good as we think he is, otherwise this is going to get REALLY ugly.
